UKSL has just setup two new game servers for Battlefield: Bad Company 2.

Aliens vs Predator Demo

The Aliens vs Predator demo is now available on Steam!

The multiplayer demo will allow gamers the chance to play as all three species - the Colonial Marine, the Predator and the Alien - and pitch their skills against each other in Deathmatch mode on Refinery, one of the game's multiplayer maps.

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Beta Update

Further details about the beta have been released:

Launch time: Thursday, 28th January, 6pm CET/12pm EST/9am PST
Client size: 1.5GB
Download: The client will be available to download through Steam, EA Download Manager, and Torrents. Exact details and links will be released by EA/DICE when the client becomes available.

Now for the bad news. Renting servers will NOT be supported in the beta. EA/DICE have decided to manage the servers themselves during the beta, using a number of ranked server providers. As a result of this, soon after the launch of the beta, UKSL will be selecting one official server for the clan to play on during the beta.

Please note that you will need an EA account for the beta.

Also, keep in mind that beta names will be saved, and carry through to the retail release. Therefore it is important that you reserve your in-game names during the beta.

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Beta

Details have finally been released on the upcoming PC beta for BC2:

Beta start date: 28th January 2010
Beta end date: 25th February 2010
Map name: Port Valdez
Players: 32
Game mode: Rush
Environment: Snow
Theme: Vehicle and Infantry
Back story: The battle for Port Valdez is fought alongside the waterline towards a great oil industrial landscape in the Alaskan mountains. Using basically everything they've got the Russian forces are launching an airborne assault to knock out the oil industries in the area. In their arsenal there are Main Battle Tanks as well as fast-moving Quad Bikes and mobile armored AA. It's a vehicle focused battle, but with plenty of infantry combat.

UKSL aims to be one of the first groups to get servers up, supporting the game from the very start of the beta, through to the retail release.
